Where do your digital memories actually live?

Hi Reader,

You may remember that a while ago, I was nominated for several categories in the Visionaries V-200 Entrepreneur Awards and I graciously asked for your vote.

It's unusual for me to ask for support like that, but I really wanted to go because it was a very color-coded event and really spoke to the organizer in me. 😂

Well, good news!

This past weekend, I was able to attend live gala in Los Angeles, and it was incredibly fun!

Not only did I get to attend, but I was honored to pick up an award for Leadership and Visionary Entrepreneurship.

I didn't win the People's Choice Awards category (although I came close), but I want to send a big Thank You! to everyone who took time out of their day to vote for me. 🙏🏻 I appreciate your support and cheer. ✨

I returned home from Los Angeles with a ton of new connections, and most of all, hundreds of new photographs to add to my collection.

You can see more of them over on Instagram here and here.

This brings me to my next point:

Memories will keep coming at you throughout life, and it's incredibly important to keep track of them.

Not only where they're stored, but how to best view them, and most of all, where they're backed up.

Your most important photographs and digital memories may be spread across phones, computers, external drives, cloud accounts and subscription services.

But if one device failed or an account became inaccessible, would you know which copies were safely backed up, and which memories could disappear?

It's always a good reflection.

That's why"

This month, I’m joining Sandy Krokaugger in a new online summit to discuss how to build a clear, dependable backup system for the digital memories you want to protect.

My interview is called: Where Do Your Digital Memories Live? Build a Backup System That Keeps Them Safe.

We’ll talk about consolidating scattered collections, understanding the difference between storage and backup and creating a system that doesn’t depend on one device, platform or subscription.

This summit runs October 19th – November 1st and features practical conversations for people who want less clutter without trying to become minimalists.

I would love for you to join the conversation.

Reserve your spot here if this sounds interesting.

I hope so.

Best,

Hi Reader, Have you ever looked at your photo collection and thought... "I know I need to do something with this... I just don't know where to start." You're not alone. After helping hundreds of people organize and preserve their photo collections over the past 15 years, I've learned that the biggest obstacle usually isn't technology. It's overwhelm. The project feels too big, too complicated, or too important to get wrong, so it keeps getting pushed to "someday." That's exactly why I've put...
